Responsibilities
- Define system-level specifications for AI inference servers and rack deployment form factors.
- Coordinate mechanical, electrical, thermal, firmware, and software requirements.
- Drive hardware-software co-design, including software abstraction layers, runtime behavior, and driver boundaries.
- Define architectures for multi-layer PCBs, multi-chip modules, high-speed interconnects, memory subsystems, and data center networking.
- Specify power delivery, voltage regulation, direct-to-chip liquid cooling, and cold-plate requirements.
- Lead technical alignment and specification handoffs with server and rack manufacturers.
- Author hardware-software interface documents and system integration guides.
- Define validation plans covering emulation, post-silicon bring-up, thermal profiling, and AI workload benchmarking.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of cross-disciplinary hardware and software systems engineering experience in server, cloud, or enterprise data center platforms.
- Strong knowledge of high-speed SerDes, power delivery networks, signal and power integrity, and liquid-cooling mechanics.
- Experience with deep-learning compilation frameworks such as Triton or TVM, kernel-level drivers, memory layout orchestration, Kubernetes, and Ray.
- Experience integrating high-density systems with Tier-1 server original design manufacturers.
- Expertise in PCIe Gen6/Gen7, CXL, UCIe, high-speed Ethernet fabrics, LPDDR6/LPDDR6x, HBM, and OCP/OAM architectures.
