A leading company in its field is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead systems engineering for an electromechanical product in the Emek region of Israel. The role reports to the Vice President of R&D.
Responsibilities
- Lead systems engineering for an electromechanical product
- Contribute to the technology roadmap
- Define the system concept and system requirements
- Establish systems engineering processes and documentation, including interfaces, risk management, verification, and validation
- Lead system reviews and evaluate product performance
- Lead system, performance, environmental, and reliability testing
- Write test procedures, analyze results, and prepare reports
- Support the transfer of the product from development to production
- Work with project managers, development engineers, manufacturing teams, and customers
- Develop work plans in collaboration with project managers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or electronics engineering
- At least 5 years of systems engineering experience
- Familiarity with MIL-STD standards
- Experience working with customers
- High-level English proficiency
- Clear presentation and communication skills
- Independent learning ability, creativity, and systems thinking
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
