A defense-sector employer in Israel is seeking a Systems Engineer to lead development and systems engineering for maneuvering systems used by ground forces.
Responsibilities
- Lead development and systems engineering for maneuvering systems.
- Work on multidisciplinary projects with development teams across multiple engineering disciplines.
- Develop system concepts and architectures.
- Perform systems design for video, power, communications, signals, and related subsystems.
- Analyze customer requirements and derive internal requirements for all disciplines.
- Build integration and verification plans.
- Lead development trials in Israel and abroad.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electronics or mechanical engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience developing multidisciplinary systems combining real-time software, hardware, and mechanics.
- Experience preparing for and participating in internal and customer system reviews, including SRR, PDR, and CDR.
- Technical communication skills in English.
- Willingness to travel internationally for work.
- Ability to think creatively and address engineering challenges in a dynamic environment.
Nice to have
- A master's degree in systems engineering.
- Experience with multidisciplinary defense or engineering projects.
