Lead the integration, architecture, requirements, verification, and configuration of complex multi-component systems for medical technology products. The role requires cross-functional technical leadership across software, firmware, hardware, applications, UI/UX, and validation teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead component and product integration activities
- Manage system requirements, specifications, and requirements flow-down
- Define product requirements for modules, components, subcontractors, and partner teams
- Drive system-level validation and verification, including testing
- Manage interfaces between components and execution teams
- Lead critical-to-quality and risk trade-offs
- Maintain product configuration and configuration-control processes
- Coordinate technical alignment and decision-making across multidisciplinary teams
- Support team development, staffing, and performance management
Requirements
- At least 6 years of systems engineering experience
- Experience designing and delivering large-scale, multi-component software systems
- Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, scalable design, code quality, CI/CD, and automated testing
- Hands-on experience integrating software, firmware, and hardware interfaces
- Expertise in system-level requirements and architecture definition
- Ability to provide technical leadership across teams and translate complex workflows into system behaviors
- Strong communication, analysis, and problem-solving skills
Nice to have
- Experience in medical imaging or other safety-critical domains
- Computer Science background
- Project management experience
