A public infrastructure organization is hiring a senior manager to lead railway systems activities for light-rail projects, from planning through execution. The role is based in Holon and project sites in Israel.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coordinate, and control the systems discipline for light-rail projects, connecting it with operational and maintenance plans.
- Guide and support planning and execution activities with designers, the management company, the concessionaire, and consultant teams.
- Manage interfaces between the systems required to operate the light-rail network.
- Monitor and control quality throughout planning and execution stages.
- Support the division’s and department’s strategic objectives.
- Work from the organization’s Holon office and project construction sites.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering.
- At least four years of experience managing or controlling systems disciplines or projects requiring a multidisciplinary perspective.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to lead processes and negotiations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in complex, high-pressure environments.
- Good Hebrew and high-level English.
- Full proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Nice to have
- Experience with railway or light-rail projects.
- Experience with PPP concession projects.
- Experience working with government ministries, government-owned companies, municipal companies, or infrastructure organizations.
