An early-stage technology company is hiring a Principal Solution Architect to lead customer-facing technical pre-sales and solution design for an AI-powered data infrastructure platform. The role is based in Tel Aviv and follows a hybrid schedule of three office days and two remote days.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical pre-sales and solution architecture for enterprise customers.
- Conduct discovery sessions covering business objectives, data environments, and technical requirements.
- Design and present scalable data and AI architectures tailored to customer needs.
- Lead technical workshops, architecture reviews, demonstrations, and proofs of concept.
- Partner with data engineers, analytics leaders, architects, executives, and other customer decision-makers.
- Translate technical capabilities into business value and customer solutions.
- Support strategic opportunities from initial engagement through solution delivery and adoption.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout complex enterprise sales processes.
- Bring customer feedback and market requirements to founders and engineering teams for product-roadmap decisions.
- Identify recurring customer needs and help translate them into scalable platform capabilities.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in solution architecture, data engineering, analytics engineering, data platform leadership, or a related field.
- Strong experience in customer-facing solution architecture, technical pre-sales, or similar roles.
- Experience working directly with enterprise customers during complex technical engagements.
- Deep knowledge of modern data architectures, cloud data platforms, and analytics ecosystems.
- Ability to design and explain complex technical solutions to technical stakeholders and senior business leaders.
- Experience leading discovery sessions, technical workshops, architecture reviews, and proofs of concept.
- Experience with AI, generative AI, LLM-powered applications, or agentic systems.
- Strong business acumen and executive-level communication skills.

- Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, BigQuery, Redshift, Azure Data Platform, Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Monte Carlo, Atlan, or Alation.
- Experience in an early-stage or venture-backed startup.
