Customer-facing engineering role supporting the integration, validation, troubleshooting, and system bring-up of high-speed SerDes interface IP in ASIC and SoC products.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance and hands-on support for customer integration of high-speed SerDes IP into ASIC, SoC, and system designs
- Conduct integration reviews at key customer milestones
- Troubleshoot issues across RTL simulation, synthesis, floorplanning, timing closure, and silicon or system bring-up
- Support silicon bring-up and characterization in system environments
- Document best practices and develop application notes and customer training
- Relay customer feedback to cross-functional and research and development teams
- Support customer-site integration reviews, system bring-up, and technical issue resolution
Requirements
- Master’s degree with 10 or more years of industry experience, or equivalent experience
- At least 10 years of experience in IP design, ASIC/SoC integration, or related customer-facing engineering roles
- Strong understanding of ASIC design flows, including simulation and verification, RTL synthesis, floorplanning, physical design, and timing closure
- Hands-on experience integrating and validating high-speed SerDes IP for PCI Express and Ethernet
- Experience debugging RTL and gate-level simulations
- Familiarity with Design Compiler, Fusion Compiler, and PrimeTime
- Experience with silicon bring-up and system-level characterization in laboratory environments
- Knowledge of PCI Express, Ethernet, and SerDes implementation flows
- Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, customer engagement, and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and occasional travel to customer sites

- Exceptional silicon debugging expertise or a strong academic background
- Experience with additional interface protocols and industry standards
