Lead new product introduction, configuration control, product data management, and release activities across the product portfolio. Coordinate with engineering, operations, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, global offices, and manufacturing subcontractors.
Responsibilities
- Lead NPI and configuration control activities across company products.
- Maintain configuration management processes and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Manage hardware and software releases for manufacturing partners.
- Ensure subcontractors have the technical knowledge and capability to support production and engineering.
- Train and support global offices on NPI, release management, and configuration control.
- Maintain accurate hardware and software bills of materials in Agile PLM.
- Review English-to-Chinese translations of engineering and technical documents.
- Coordinate product releases and lifecycle activities with cross-functional teams.
- Improve product data management, change control, and release processes.
Requirements
- Practical Engineer degree in Electronics Engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience in the electronics industry.
- Experience in NPI, configuration control, PLM, or a related engineering operations role.
- Hands-on experience with engineering management tools; Agile PLM experience preferred.
- Strong spoken and written English.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and customer-focused service skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with global manufacturing subcontractors or contract manufacturers.
- Familiarity with hardware and software release processes in high-tech manufacturing.
- Experience supporting multinational teams and global product deployments.
