An emerging clean-energy technology company is seeking a self-driven engineer or physicist to lead simulations and help advance thermoacoustic energy-harvesting products toward commercialization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and use computational tools to simulate and design thermoacoustic devices.
- Perform simulations, parametric sensitivity analyses, and device optimization.
- Validate and calibrate models against tests conducted by other team members.
- Work closely with scientific team members to turn concepts into feasible products.
- Lead simulation activities supporting productization initiatives.
Requirements
- MSc or PhD in engineering or an applied science.
- Background in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer.
- Demonstrated experience in product development programs, including computational fluid dynamics.
- Ability to work independently across disciplines.
- Creative, self-driven approach with a focus on timelines and results.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with compressible flow and acoustics.
- Experience with heat-transfer systems.
