Conduct multidisciplinary research to develop future digital printing platforms, optimize printing processes and materials, and improve print quality and cost performance.
Responsibilities
- Research and investigate varied technical fields for future printing platforms
- Develop printing processes to meet print quality and cost targets
- Study and optimize physical process parameters and materials
- Design, conduct, analyze, and summarize multidisciplinary experiments
- Translate marketing requirements into engineering requirements
- Develop and improve quantitative measurement methodologies
- Create physical models to characterize systems and subsystem interactions
- Identify physical mechanisms and critical parameters
- Collaborate with physicists and engineers to solve complex problems
- Present findings to technical stakeholders and management
Requirements
- M.Sc. in physics or materials engineering
- Experience with data analysis using Python or MATLAB
- Excellent communication skills in Hebrew and English
- Ability to work independently with broad perspective and strong organization
Nice to have
- PhD in physics or materials engineering
- Experimental research experience
- Three to five years of research or engineering experience in a multidisciplinary environment
- Experience developing models
- Programming experience in Python, MATLAB, or a related technical language
