A food manufacturing company is seeking a buyer to manage procurement across equipment, services, projects and packaging, and coordinate packaging development and launches.
Responsibilities
- Develop an annual procurement work plan and manage purchasing of equipment, services, projects and packaging materials.
- Coordinate packaging development, version changes and new launches with marketing, quality and production teams.
- Lead negotiations and manage framework agreements and price lists.
- Deliver cost-efficiency and savings goals.
- Develop long-term supplier partnerships, identify alternative suppliers and introduce new technologies.
Requirements
- Previous experience in procurement, purchasing or supplier management.
- Proficiency with SAP and Excel.
- Proven negotiation skills and commercial and operational perspective.
- Ability to coordinate across teams, with strong organization, accuracy and assertiveness.
- Very good English.

- Experience in packaging procurement.
