Lead daily production-floor operations at an industrial water-products manufacturing plant, managing teams and driving safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency targets.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily production operations and execute work plans.
- Lead production-floor management routines, including morning meetings, performance tracking, and exception handling.
- Set priorities in response to production-plan changes and business needs.
- Manage, develop, and train production teams while implementing work processes.
- Implement quality-assurance processes and coordinate customer complaints with the quality representative.
- Support tests and trials in collaboration with product management and development.
- Resolve ongoing technical issues on the production floor.
- Lead operational-excellence and continuous-improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate operational interfaces with warehouse teams.
Requirements
- Experience managing production teams or a production floor in an industrial environment.
- Good English proficiency.
- Technical orientation and problem-solving ability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Nice to have
- Engineering or practical engineering qualification.
- Experience with SolidWorks.
- Hydraulics experience or specialization.
- Knowledge of Lean methods.
