An industrial ventilation and air-treatment manufacturer is seeking a manager to plan, schedule, and monitor production, optimize resources, meet delivery targets, and improve efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Develop production plans based on orders, forecasts, and demand.
- Set production priorities and manage workloads; monitor plans and targets.
- Oversee delivery schedules and improve on-time delivery.
- Plan and optimize machinery, workforce, and raw-material resources.
- Coordinate with Procurement and the Warehouse to ensure material availability.
- Analyze production data and KPIs and develop actionable insights.
- Lead efficiency and continuous-improvement initiatives and implement improved work methods.
- Use information systems, particularly Priority.
Requirements
- Practical or academic qualification in Industrial Engineering and Management or a relevant field.
- At least 3 years of experience in production planning and control or production planning at an industrial manufacturing plant.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Nice to have
- Experience in heavy industry.
