A medical device company seeks a hands-on Technology Lead to own technical manufacturing activities, process development, supplier coordination, inventory operations, and task leadership during the transition to production and market launch.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed knowledge of the product, assemblies, manufacturing processes, and testing procedures.
- Perform and lead assembly, testing, and manufacturing activities, providing hands-on technical support and troubleshooting.
- Establish, document, and continuously improve manufacturing, assembly, and testing processes.
- Lead tasks and projects from planning through execution and completion.
- Transfer and implement manufacturing and assembly processes at subcontractor facilities.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors on troubleshooting, performance, quality, and schedules.
- Manage warehouse and inventory activities, including incoming goods and material issuance to production.
- Collaborate with Development and Quality teams.
Requirements
- Required: hands-on technical experience in manufacturing, assembly, integration, or testing environments involving technological products.
- Strong technical capabilities and willingness to perform hands-on work.
- Ability to understand products and technical processes, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions independently.
- Demonstrated ability to lead tasks from planning through completion.
- Strong organization, accountability, and independent working ability.
Nice to have
- Experience establishing, transferring, or improving manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Experience working with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Experience in the medical device or technology industry.
- Experience managing inventory and warehouse operations.
- Experience training or professionally leading technicians and production personnel.
