Manage silicon photonics development projects from planning through execution, coordinating engineering, testing, packaging, operations, manufacturing, and external partners.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate silicon photonics development projects from planning through execution
- Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and action-item tracking
- Coordinate process, design, testing, packaging, and manufacturing teams
- Monitor progress and help resolve issues affecting schedules or deliverables
- Lead project meetings, document decisions, and follow up on action items
- Communicate project status, risks, and updates to stakeholders and management
- Maintain alignment between internal teams and external partners
- Drive accountability and execution across cross-functional teams
- Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, materials science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related technical field
- 5–10 years of experience in engineering, operations, or project management within the semiconductor, photonics, or related technology industry
- Experience coordinating technical projects in multidisciplinary engineering environments
- Background in silicon process technologies, semiconductor manufacturing, fabrication, or related areas
- Strong planning, organization, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to create work plans, track progress, manage priorities, and drive execution
- Ability to influence and coordinate cross-functional teams without direct managerial authority
Nice to have
- Experience in silicon photonics, optics, optical communications, semiconductor, or high-tech product development
- Experience with manufacturing, testing, product development lifecycles, or qualification processes
- Hardware or mechanical engineering background
