Lead quality management for an EPC project, coordinating consortium partners and engaging with the customer and project management company on quality matters.
Responsibilities
- Represent project quality in customer and project management company engagements.
- Define, implement, and maintain the consortium Quality Management Plan, objectives, procedures, and instructions.
- Review and approve design packages and Inspection Test Plans; track their development.
- Coordinate quality activities and interfaces among consortium partners, and follow issues through closure.
- Monitor quality KPIs and action plans.
- Lead quality meetings with partners and the customer; present consortium results.
- Conduct partner QMS audits and lead lessons-learned sessions; coordinate customer and third-party audits.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and coordinate resolution of customer nonconformities.
- Provide consolidated quality reports to the customer or owner at least monthly.
- Organize training on project processes and supporting software.
- Review contracts and coordinate quality matters with environment and safety activities.
Requirements
- Graduate or postgraduate degree in engineering.
- Fluent English.
- Experience in quality management, operational activities, and documentation management.
- Experience managing teams and influencing cross-functional, geographically distributed teams.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills; familiarity with Lean principles.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of the railway industry, including relevant standards and certifications.
