Project Manager – Product and R&D Operations

Lead strategic, cross-functional programs across Product, Engineering, Security, IT, Legal, and other business teams. Build execution structure, manage dependencies and risks, provide stakeholder visibility, and improve operational processes in a hybrid technology environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex cross-functional programs and maintain project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and decision processes
- Drive strategic initiatives involving Product, Engineering, and other business functions
- Translate broad goals and complex requirements into workstreams, ownership, deliverables, and next steps
- Coordinate technical and non-technical stakeholders and facilitate productive discussions
- Identify blockers and gaps, coordinate mitigation plans, and escalate issues when necessary
- Provide concise updates on progress, decisions, risks, and upcoming milestones
- Improve workflows, cross-team collaboration, and scalable operating processes
- Use AI tools for roadmaps, project plans, Gantt charts, status updates, meeting summaries, and workflow automation
- Document decisions and action items, assign ownership, and ensure follow-through
Requirements
- At least 4 years of project or program management experience, preferably in a SaaS or technology environment
- Experience leading projects across multiple teams and stakeholders with different priorities
- Strong planning and organizational skills, including managing timelines, milestones, dependencies, and risks
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills
- Ability to participate in technical discussions, ask clarifying questions, and translate them into actionable plans
- Proactive, hands-on approach to creating structure when requirements are evolving
- Curiosity and ability to learn new products, technologies, and business areas quickly
- Comfort working in a dynamic environment with changing priorities
- Experience with project-management or R&D tools such as Linear, Jira, Asana, Monday.com, or similar
- Experience using AI tools, or strong interest in applying them to planning, communication, and execution
Nice to have
- Experience working closely with Product and R&D teams
- Exposure to organizational, operational, security, or compliance projects
- Experience coordinating external partners, consultants, or vendors
- Background in Product Operations, R&D Operations, PMO, or a similar cross-functional function
