Lead end-to-end business and engineering projects for radar development programs, working with international customers, prime contractors, internal matrix teams, and subcontractors. The role includes approximately 6–8 international trips per year and may offer training toward systems engineering.
Responsibilities
- Manage radar development projects from initiation through completion
- Lead development activities according to customer requirements
- Lead business projects with international customers and prime contractors
- Coordinate with internal matrix functions and subcontractors
- Manage project finances and provide regular reports to management
- Own the customer relationship throughout the project
- Participate in project-related marketing activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering required
- At least three years of experience leading development projects as a business or engineering project manager, or as a lead engineer
- Proven experience managing and leading matrix teams
- Excellent customer-service and customer-facing skills
- Very good written, spoken, and reading English
- Willingness to travel internationally approximately 6–8 times per year
