Lead multiple concurrent programs across Engineering, Product, and QA for a cloud networking and security platform. Own end-to-end delivery, resolve technical blockers, challenge plans, and represent R&D leadership in execution decisions.
Responsibilities
- Own plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and decisions for multiple cross-team programs
- Investigate technical blockers and design discussions to unblock delivery
- Challenge Engineering and Product plans when scope, timelines, or quality are at risk
- Represent R&D priorities and make independent execution decisions
- Provide exception-based visibility to stakeholders
- Improve delivery velocity and quality through lightweight execution mechanisms
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in software R&D
- 3+ years leading an Engineering or QA group at team lead or group manager level
- Strong hands-on technical background with architecture, design, and quality discussions
- Demonstrated delivery of complex, multi-team programs in a product company
- Experience in SaaS or cloud development environments
- Strong ownership and decision-making in ambiguous situations
- Direct communication skills and the ability to build trust with senior Engineering and Product leaders
