Manage flare and pyrotechnic component programs for international and domestic customers, overseeing delivery from initial engagement through ongoing service.
Responsibilities
- Manage a major international flare program involving existing products and development of advanced aircraft-protection flares.
- Manage domestic customer projects for pyrotechnic systems, from initial engagement through delivery and ongoing service.
- Own technical, financial, quality, schedule, and customer-satisfaction targets throughout each program.
- Lead responses to RFI and RFP opportunities and negotiate with customers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Develop project plans and budgets; track progress and profitability.
- Coordinate engineering, production, procurement, quality, and logistics teams.
- Ensure compliance with Ministry of Defense and Air Force security procedures and requirements.
- Document and report program progress to management and conduct closeout reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry, or business administration.
- Experience managing projects with defense organizations and international customers.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Office.
- Strong communication, organizational, and management skills; ability to work under pressure and coordinate across multiple stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree.
- Experience with pyrotechnics technology.
