Senior Software Release Manager

Lead end-to-end software and firmware releases for networking, cloud, security, and data-processing products. Coordinate global engineering, QA, architecture, operations, and marketing teams to deliver high-quality releases on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Own firmware, SDK, and data-processing-unit product releases from kickoff through signoff
- Coordinate engineering, testing, verification, QA, architecture, operations, and marketing teams
- Drive release schedules, quality targets, progress tracking, and release indicators
- Align development, verification, and QA testing activities
- Lead release meetings, communicate status, resolve issues, and escalate risks
- Coordinate global teams and improve software development and release workflows
- Define and maintain release processes, guidelines, and checklists
- Build understanding of product dependencies across networking, storage, security, cloud, and compute workloads
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or industrial engineering, or equivalent experience
- At least five years of overall experience, including release management or software project leadership
- Experience leading global projects
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking abilities
- Ability to work independently, organize priorities, self-manage, and lead technically
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Fluent English and willingness to speak publicly
Nice to have
- Proficiency with business intelligence tools such as Microsoft Power BI
- Knowledge of networking and cloud technologies
- Experience with Agile software development practices
- Knowledge of Linux technologies
- Familiarity with GitHub
