Senior Release Manager

Lead end-to-end releases for firmware, SDK, and network operating system products in a global networking organization. Coordinate engineering, testing, QA, operations, architecture, and marketing teams to deliver high-quality releases on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Own firmware, SDK, and network operating system releases from kickoff through signoff
- Coordinate engineering, operations, architecture, marketing, development, verification, and QA teams
- Drive release schedules, quality targets, progress tracking, and release indicators
- Align testing activities across development, verification, and QA groups
- Lead release meetings, communicate status, resolve issues, and escalate risks
- Collaborate with global teams to improve development and release workflows
- Define and improve release processes, guidelines, and checklists
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or industrial engineering, or equivalent experience
- At least 8 years of overall experience, including release management or software project leadership
- Experience leading global projects
- Proficiency with planning, tracking, documentation, and enterprise ticketing tools such as Excel, Confluence, Redmine, Jira, or TFS
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently, self-manage, and provide technical leadership
Nice to have
- Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI
- Knowledge of networking and cloud technologies
- Experience with Agile software development practices
- Knowledge of Linux technologies
- Experience with GitHub
