Lead end-to-end releases for firmware, SDK, and network operating system products. Coordinate global engineering and quality teams to deliver releases on schedule and to a high standard.
Responsibilities
- Own firmware, SDK, and network operating system releases from kickoff through signoff
- Coordinate engineering, operations, architecture, marketing, development, verification, and QA teams
- Track release progress, create release indicators, and maintain delivery schedules
- Align testing activities across development, verification, and quality assurance groups
- Lead release meetings, communicate status, resolve issues, and escalate risks
- Identify product dependencies and improve release workflows
- Define and maintain release processes, guidelines, and checklists
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or industrial engineering, or equivalent experience
- At least 8 years of overall experience, including release management or software project leadership
- Experience leading global projects
- Proficiency with planning, tracking, documentation, and ticketing tools such as Excel, Confluence, Redmine, Jira, or TFS
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organization, and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently, lead technically, and manage competing priorities
Nice to have
- Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI
- Networking and cloud technology knowledge
- Agile software development experience
- Linux knowledge
- GitHub knowledge
