Lead a business unit combining program management, business development, operations, and financial oversight within a dynamic defense manufacturing environment. The role involves managing program leaders, coordinating complex activities, and working with customers and partners in Israel and abroad.
Responsibilities
- Manage and prioritize all activities within the business unit.
- Lead direct reports who manage programs and oversee overall business activity.
- Develop business opportunities and market the business area.
- Integrate programs across the unit and allocate resources.
- Support program managers in meeting program and financial objectives.
- Manage the unit’s cross-functional budgets.
- Coordinate with customers, partners, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- At least five years of experience managing programs or projects.
- Strong financial understanding and sound decision-making ability.
- Proven leadership skills, including the ability to lead and motivate employees.
- Full professional proficiency in English.
- Willingness to travel abroad frequently and work under demanding conditions.
Nice to have
- A master’s degree in business administration.
- Experience managing large and complex programs.
- Relevant military experience in artillery.
