A large healthcare organization seeks a team lead to manage project managers and systems analysts while overseeing complex medical records and technology initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Directly manage and support a team of 6–7 project managers and systems analysts.
- Plan team activities, allocate tasks, prioritize work, manage workloads, and maintain quality standards.
- Lead complex cross-organizational projects from initiation through implementation, including scheduling, budgeting, risk, and change management.
- Design and define system and technology solutions for business and medical requirements.
- Collaborate with medical, service, operations, finance, marketing, and other organizational stakeholders.
- Oversee system maintenance, troubleshooting, incident investigation, and issue resolution with internal specialists and external software vendors.
- Lead innovation initiatives, assess new technologies, and implement improved methodologies and management tools.
- Mentor team members and support their professional development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, industrial engineering and management, information systems, or health systems management.
- At least 3 years of direct management experience overseeing project managers and/or systems analysts.
- At least 3 years of systems analysis experience, including writing system specifications.
- Professional experience with SQL.
- Strong systems thinking, complex-process analysis, leadership, stakeholder management, and attention to detail.
- Availability to work outside regular business hours when required.
Nice to have
- Software development experience.
- Experience in complex, multi-stakeholder organizations.
- Previous experience with healthcare systems.
