Lead complex autonomy and robotics engineering projects from proposal through development, delivery, customer support, and transition to production. The role is based on site in Rosh HaAyin and includes international travel.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical response for projects from proposal and development through delivery and customer support
- Manage multidisciplinary engineering involving hardware, software, algorithms, architecture, system requirements, and integration testing
- Define technical requirements and system solutions, prepare specifications, and plan work, schedules, and budgets
- Lead engineering teams, subcontractors, and external suppliers through design, implementation, integration, and testing
- Work with defense customers and technical representatives in Israel and abroad, including technical reviews and professional meetings
- Prepare technical proposals and RFP responses while supporting business and marketing processes
- Support development-to-production transitions and verification and validation activities
- Monitor deliverables, tasks, schedules, quality, and project objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- At least 3 years of experience in technical management, systems engineering, or engineering leadership for complex projects
- Experience leading development or integration teams in Israel and internationally
- Experience leading engineering processes in a matrix environment and with subcontractors
- Full professional proficiency in English
- Willingness to travel abroad as project requirements dictate
- Strong systems perspective, analytical capability, attention to detail, and cross-functional collaboration skills
