Lead a 24/7 technical operations team responsible for the stability, reliability, performance, and documentation of production cloud applications. Partner with engineering and development teams, improve service operability, and represent the organization to senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and develop a 24/7 technical operations team
- Maintain stable, reliable, and well-documented production applications
- Partner with engineering and development teams on scalable, operable platform design
- Troubleshoot and debug complex production issues
- Own availability and performance for key services
- Build automation to prevent recurring problems and automate responses to routine service conditions
- Support product feature rollouts and installations
- Develop tools for rapid deployment and monitoring of custom applications
- Recruit, retain, coach, and mentor engineers
- Lead incident triage, resolution, and prevention
Requirements
- Israeli nationality
- Willingness to obtain and maintain security clearance for public sector projects
- At least 3 years of experience with infrastructure as code, SRE, DevOps tooling, or automation for large-scale production systems
- At least 1 year of experience managing engineering, DevOps, or SRE teams
- Experience with Linux
- Experience deploying code within change-management procedures
- Experience participating in or leading incident management
