Lead a team of 6–8 developers delivering complex software systems from architecture and design through production. Combine hands-on technical guidance with team leadership, delivery management, risk mitigation, and strategic engineering decisions.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 6–8 developers working on large-scale, complex systems.
- Manage multiple concurrent development projects from architecture and design through production release.
- Plan, coordinate, and lead activities across the full software delivery lifecycle.
- Identify and mitigate delivery risks and bottlenecks while coordinating cross-functional stakeholders.
- Make technical and strategic decisions that align engineering work with business impact.
- Provide hands-on guidance and support to developers, including code-level assistance.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of technical leadership experience and 10 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, mentor, and influence highly skilled developers.
- Deep expertise in Java, Go, Python, Spring, Maven, and related frameworks.
- Strong background designing and implementing scalable, concurrent, low-latency, fault-tolerant distributed systems.
- Experience managing complex software projects, meeting milestones, and resolving technical challenges proactively.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with frequent context switching.
Nice to have
- Experience using agentic AI tools throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Experience with SaaS, cloud, and microservices architecture.
