Lead a quality control materials laboratory in Israel, overseeing raw and packaging material testing, GMP compliance, laboratory operations, team development, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead the quality control materials laboratory team
- Oversee testing of raw materials and packaging materials according to approved procedures and methods
- Ensure compliance with cGMP requirements, procedures, and quality standards
- Lead deviation and OOS investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Review and approve laboratory records, analytical results, and certificates of analysis
- Manage laboratory activities and ensure testing is completed on schedule
- Supervise analysts and assess the quality and accuracy of laboratory data
- Release or reject raw and packaging materials in computerized systems
- Collaborate with QA, production, supply chain, and external laboratories
- Train, qualify, coach, and develop laboratory employees
- Lead performance management, one-to-one discussions, and employee development plans
- Drive Lean and TLMS projects, process improvements, problem-solving, and performance tracking
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biotechnology, life sciences, or a related field
- Experience in quality control within the pharmaceutical industry
- Thorough knowledge of GMP requirements
- Ability to work in a dynamic, multitasking environment
- Management, leadership, and employee motivation skills
- High-level Hebrew and English proficiency
