Lead a team of engineers building scalable, high-performance web applications for a global travel platform. Drive front-end and full-stack solutions, shape architecture, and mentor engineers.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers building scalable, reliable, and user-friendly web applications and product experiences.
- Drive the development of front-end and full-stack solutions across core product areas, including AI-enabled features.
- Collaborate with product, design, data, and engineering teams to deliver intuitive and impactful user experiences.
- Shape architecture across state management, SSR, micro-frontends, and API integration.
- Ensure new features are performant, maintainable, observable, and production-ready.
- Guide the team in designing interfaces and workflows that surface recommendations, automation, or intelligent product enhancements.
- Improve application quality through code reviews, testing, experimentation, and continuous delivery.
- Support integration with backend services through REST, GraphQL, WebSockets, and other service interfaces.
- Drive technical decisions around performance, reliability, monitoring, and maintainability.
- Mentor engineers and grow team capability in modern web engineering and product development practices.
Requirements
- Strong experience leading teams building large-scale web applications with React, Angular, or Vue.
- Solid hands-on expertise in JavaScript / TypeScript and front-end development.
- Strong knowledge of web performance optimization, scalability, and frontend best practices.
- Experience integrating frontend applications with backend services through REST, GraphQL, or WebSockets.
- Strong technical and people leadership with proven mentoring and coaching ability.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with product, design, and engineering stakeholders.
- Experience guiding architectural decisions across SSR, micro-frontends, and state management.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, automated testing, and deployment for web applications.
- Clear communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Nice to have
- Exposure to full-stack development and backend technologies such as C#, Kotlin, or Scala.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with mobile web, cross-platform frameworks, or cloud platforms.
- Experience with analytics, A/B testing, and SEO for large-scale web products.
- Experience building customer-facing products in high-traffic or global-scale environments.
