Lead a product-focused engineering team, drive technical design and architecture, and deliver high-quality features. Requires strong backend/full-stack development skills and cloud experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers.
- Own team execution, priorities, and long-term direction.
- Collaborate with Product and Design to turn customer needs into scalable solutions.
- Lead features and projects from definition through production.
- Drive technical design and architecture decisions.
- Participate in design discussions, code reviews, debugging, and hands-on contribution.
- Build collaboration with other teams and lead cross-team initiatives.
- Create clear processes and ownership as the team grows.
- Take part in hiring and shape team standards and culture.
- Use modern AI tools (Cursor, Claude Code) in development workflow.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience managing an engineering team.
- Strong software engineering background in Backend or Full Stack development.
- Experience leading product features and projects end-to-end.
- Strong System Design and architecture skills.
- Product mindset with ability to understand customer needs and business impact.
- Experience working closely with Product, Design, and other R&D teams.
- Ability to develop engineers, provide feedback, and build a high-performing team.
- Hands-on mindset with ability to step into code and technical discussions.
- Experience with Cloud environments, production systems, and modern engineering practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex decisions clearly.
- High ownership, curiosity, and collaborative, low-ego approach.
