An experienced engineering leader responsible for leading and mentoring a team of software engineers, driving technical strategy, and delivering scalable distributed systems serving millions of consumers.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers, including offshore members.
- Own team execution, delivery, and technical direction.
- Contribute hands-on to codebase, conduct code reviews, and drive development tasks end-to-end.
- Drive cross-functional initiatives with Product, Data, and Business stakeholders.
- Design, build, and operate scalable, highly available production systems.
- Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and engineering excellence.
- Lead AI development cycle and modern engineering practices across the team.
Requirements
- 6+ years of hands-on backend development experience.
- 2+ years leading engineering teams.
- Experience building and operating distributed systems at scale in cloud environments.
- Experience leading architectural transformations, including monolith to distributed architectures.
- Experience designing and building new systems from scratch.
- Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate software development workflows.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Growth mindset and passion for developing people.
- Fluent in both Hebrew and English.

- Python development experience.
