Engineering Manager – Radar Systems

Lead the engineering process for a naval radar project, coordinating multidisciplinary development across hardware, firmware, software, integration, testing, and verification teams. The role is based at sites in Holon or Be’er Sheva, Israel.
Responsibilities
- Lead radar system development, including requirements management, development cycles, testing, and system verification
- Coordinate system, integration, and algorithm engineering activities and define system specifications and technical requirements
- Define and execute complex test plans across land, air, and sea environments
- Coordinate with regulatory bodies and support technical compliance activities
- Prepare specifications and technical documentation for engineering teams and subcontractors
- Plan and monitor development progress
- Define goals and performance metrics and synchronize systems engineering, software, and firmware teams
- Act as the technical point of contact for business, operations, and customer interfaces
Requirements
- BSc in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
- At least 5 years of experience as a Technical Manager or Lead Systems Engineer developing multidisciplinary systems combining hardware, firmware, and software
- Experience with configuration definition and specification writing
- Familiarity with software development processes and system integration practices
- Experience leading engineering processes in a matrix environment with multiple development interfaces
- Full professional proficiency in Hebrew and English, spoken and written
- Ability to make decisions under pressure and uncertainty
Nice to have
- Electronic Warfare or radar systems experience
- Hands-on experience with AI-based tools for engineering and technical management
