Responsibilities
- Report to the Director of Engineering and align practices across engineering management
- Partner with Engineering Managers to support the global software engineering team
- Collaborate with Product Management and Staff Engineers on planning and delivery pace
- Mentor team members and support their career development
Requirements
- At least 3 years of team management experience
- Strong software engineering background
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Comfort working in a remote, asynchronous-first environment
- Willingness to adopt AI tools in daily work
- Autonomy, ownership, and collaborative team spirit
Nice to have
- Experience managing teams in a startup or scale-up
- Experience with Java and Spring
- Experience with React
- Experience with Rust
