Lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise microservices in a cloud-native environment while managing and mentoring a software engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of robust Java and Spring Boot microservices.
- Architect secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud solutions.
- Manage and mentor a software engineering team of approximately 6–10 engineers, supporting technical growth and career development.
- Collaborate with Product, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver reliable software.
- Establish best practices for code quality, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot production incidents.
- Drive engineering innovation and continuous process improvement.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional Java development experience, with strong expertise in Spring Boot and SQL.
- Proven experience designing and managing microservices architectures in cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, Docker, and orchestration tools; Kubernetes experience is preferred.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor engineering teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to high-quality software.
- Applicants must reside in the same country or eligible sales region as the position.
Nice to have
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools including Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
