Lead AI-focused engineering teams and drive organization-wide transformation of software development processes, tools, and workflows. Own technical direction, delivery, engineering quality, and leadership development within a fast-scaling enterprise SaaS platform.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop engineering teams focused on AI, including Team Leads and senior engineers.
- Own team health, delivery velocity, engineering quality, and operational performance across assigned domains.
- Lead AI-driven developer experience transformation across the R&D organization.
- Implement and scale AI tools, frameworks, agentic coding workflows, and engineering practices.
- Drive adoption of AI development tools and measure their impact on productivity.
- Establish AI engineering quality standards, governance, and best practices.
- Lead complex cross-functional technical initiatives and manage delivery timelines.
- Define and execute the long-term AI technical roadmap.
- Guide architectural decisions and maintain standards for scalability, reliability, observability, and engineering excellence.
Requirements
- Extensive engineering leadership experience as a Director of Engineering or equivalent senior technical leader, typically 8 or more years.
- Experience managing multiple Team Leads and developing engineering leadership in medium-to-large startup environments.
- Proven success delivering large-scale technical projects with cross-functional engineering teams.
- Deep expertise in LLMs, evaluations, retrieval-augmented generation, agent architectures, and production AI systems.
- Experience implementing AI agents and developer tooling across multiple teams with measurable productivity and adoption outcomes.
- Strong architectural decision-making, technical mentoring, and long-term roadmap planning experience.
- Fluent Hebrew and English.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, rapidly changing growth environment.
