Lead a team of Systems Analysts and own analysis quality and delivery support across complex, multi-system environments. Guide requirements and specifications from discovery through development handover, while improving team practices and organizational standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Systems Analysts; standardize analysis methods, templates, and guidelines.
- Own the analysis process from requirements gathering through handover to development, aligning milestones with sprint, PI, and quarterly objectives.
- Review analysis documentation for completeness, consistency, and quality; manage risks, dependencies, and analysis gaps.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, development, QA, business stakeholders, and management on delivery status, blockers, and risks.
- Lead complex systems analysis, define systemic solutions and functional architecture, and own business and logical specifications.
- Improve analysis, specification, and knowledge-management processes; introduce tools and methods, define quality metrics, and establish organizational standards.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in complex systems analysis
- At least 2–3 years managing a team of Systems Analysts
- Experience in financial domains, including stocks, options, and financial products
- Experience writing complex business and technical specifications
- Experience with databases and data modeling
- Experience with multi-interface and integrated systems
- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies
Nice to have
- Experience in a large financial organization, such as a bank, insurer, or investment house
- Familiarity with systems analysis and specification tools
- Knowledge of microservices, APIs, and modern architectures
- Experience with Azure DevOps
- Experience integrating AI into systems analysis processes
