A nationwide services organization is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to lead analysis for a complex core system supporting financial and operational processes. The role works across business, development, vendor, and interface teams and serves as a key professional focal point.
Responsibilities
- Lead systems analysis from requirements gathering and specification through development, testing, and production.
- Translate business needs into system solutions while considering capabilities and constraints.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, development teams, vendors, and multiple system interfaces.
- Support development teams and provide professional guidance throughout the development lifecycle.
- Learn complex systems and business domains quickly while independently managing multiple tasks and processes.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a Systems Analyst in a medium or large organization.
- Experience leading end-to-end systems analysis processes.
- Experience gathering business requirements and writing functional and technical specifications.
- Experience working closely with business stakeholders and development teams.
- Ability to translate business requirements into effective system solutions.
- Strong analytical and systems-level thinking.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Nice to have
- Experience with core, financial, or complex operational systems.
- Experience in large organizations with multiple system interfaces.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Familiarity with databases and basic data querying.
