Build and own the internal IT function for a cloud-first cybersecurity company. This role covers identity, endpoints, networks, SaaS administration, office technology, automation, and security collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Own Okta as the primary identity provider and automate joiner, mover, and leaver workflows from the HR system through downstream applications.
- Manage SAML and OIDC integrations, SCIM provisioning, adaptive MFA, and role-based access.
- Own the Apple device fleet in Jamf Pro, including zero-touch enrollment, configuration profiles, patch policies, and scripted deployments.
- Manage firewall and wireless infrastructure, VPN, network segmentation, 802.1X, and zero-trust remote access.
- Own meeting-room technology, including video conferencing hardware, displays, room booking, and cabling.
- Administer Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, Linear, GitHub, and other SaaS applications.
- Integrate systems through APIs and webhooks while improving license management and vendor consolidation.
- Automate recurring IT tasks using platform APIs, coding agents, LLM tools, and MCP integrations.
- Partner with Security on zero-trust access, patch remediation, access reviews, and automated SOC 2 and ISO 27001 evidence.
- Support incident response with relevant logs and device actions.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in IT or systems engineering at a cloud-first company.
- Hands-on expertise with Okta lifecycle management, group rules, SAML, OIDC, SCIM, and authentication policies.
- Advanced Jamf Pro administration and macOS troubleshooting from the command line.
- Practical experience with firewalls, controller-based wireless, VLANs, VPNs, and 802.1X.
- In-depth Google Workspace administration and conference room AV ownership.
- Strong scripting skills and the ability to work directly with REST APIs.
- Demonstrated use of AI tools to deliver production work.
