Provide technical leadership for ONTAP-based cloud storage solutions. Advise customers and internal teams on architecture, operations, and optimization across public cloud environments.

Responsibilities

Act as the escalation point for complex ONTAP cloud storage issues, providing expert analysis and troubleshooting.
Design, configure, administer, and optimize cloud storage, including provisioning, data protection, performance, and capacity planning.
Advise customers and internal stakeholders on storage architecture, operating practices, and long-term strategies.
Partner with cloud architects and customers to implement scalable, secure, highly available, and cost-effective storage solutions.
Develop storage standards and recommend improvements to infrastructure and operational processes.
Guide data protection, disaster recovery, cyber resilience, and business continuity planning.
Mentor and enable technical support and engineering teams, and collaborate across functions to resolve technical challenges.
Assess ONTAP integration with cloud-native services, applications, and platforms, and keep current with relevant technologies.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
Deep experience configuring, administering, troubleshooting, and optimizing NetApp ONTAP storage
Knowledge of storage concepts and protocols such as NFS, CIFS, and iSCSI, and technologies such as RAID, snapshots, and replication
Experience supporting complex storage issues and designing, implementing, and operating ONTAP solutions in public cloud environments
Understanding of public cloud infrastructure and services
Ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical stakeholders and manage competing priorities
Flexibility to support global operations across time zones and participate in an on-call rotation
