A financial-services organization is seeking a Systems Analyst for complex banking projects involving core systems and a hybrid work arrangement in central Israel.
Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements for complex banking projects.
- Work with core financial and mainframe systems.
- Write and review SQL queries involving DB2.
- Read and understand COBOL code.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Coordinate requirements and interfaces across infrastructure, information security, business, development, and QA stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of systems analysis experience.
- Proven experience in banking environments, particularly mainframe systems.
- Experience writing SQL queries and working with DB2.
- Ability to read and understand COBOL code.
- Experience working with core banking or other financial systems.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Strong process understanding and broad systems-level perspective.
- Ability to collaborate with infrastructure, information security, business users, development, and QA teams.
Nice to have
- Experience with financial core systems.
- Familiarity with banking work methodologies.
