Lead a team of game economists and own the economy of mobile Solitaire games, from feature design and modeling through testing and post-launch tuning. Work with product, monetization, design, analytics, and engineering teams to balance revenue, engagement, and retention.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop game economy managers; manage team priorities, workload, feedback, hiring, and onboarding
- Own the economic health of Solitaire games, monitoring and balancing currencies, resources, sinks and sources, and inflation
- Build economic models and simulations, tune feature configurations, and analyze data to address complex economy challenges
- Drive economy design for tournaments, LiveOps events, progression systems, and rewards from initial scoping through post-launch tuning
- Plan and review A/B tests and turn findings into actionable recommendations
- Apply and help evolve economy guidelines, processes, and standards across the game portfolio
- Partner with product, monetization, game design, analytics, and engineering teams to balance revenue, engagement, and retention
- Contribute economic insights to roadmap, feature-priority, pricing, and reward decisions
- Present findings and recommendations to studio and company leadership
Requirements
- At least 4 years of game economy experience in the gaming industry, ideally in free-to-play mobile games
- Experience leading or mentoring analysts or economists
- Strong understanding of game economies, including currencies, sinks and sources, inflation, rewards, progression, retention, and monetization
- Experience designing, running, and analyzing A/B tests
- Strong SQL skills and experience building economic models and simulations with spreadsheets, Python, or R
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, mathematics, statistics, economics, computer science, or equivalent background
- Excellent written and spoken English

- Experience with skill-based, competitive, or tournament-based games
- Experience using AI tools and large language models for analysis, modeling, or research
