Monitor and analyze electricity-market participants, market mechanisms, commercial activity, and settlement processes against applicable regulations, standards, agreements, and contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Track, monitor, and analyze electricity-market participants and market mechanisms for compliance with regulations, standards, agreements, and contracts.
  • Analyze commercial data and assess settlement processes using established international market-monitoring practices.
  • Specify, test, and operate computerized analytical tools.
  • Monitor the system operator's day-ahead and real-time activity.
  • Work with external electricity-sector organizations, including generators, suppliers, and regulators.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in economics, industrial engineering and management, or electrical engineering from a recognized academic institution.
  • Experience with commercial and industrial process analytics and large-scale commercial forecasting.
  • Experience with process-control systems requiring commercial optimization.
  • Experience in a multi-project organization and demonstrated ability to build interfaces across teams.
  • Required experience with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Native-level Hebrew and very good English speaking, reading, and technical writing skills.
  • Strong analytical ability, systems thinking, and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-organizational processes.
  • Willingness to work beyond regular hours and under pressure.

Nice to have

  • A master's degree in business administration or economics.
  • Experience analyzing financial statements.
  • Familiarity with BI and analytical tools.
