Own software systems and subsystems throughout their development lifecycle, from requirements and architecture through delivery. Work with multidisciplinary teams in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Own software systems and subsystems across the full development lifecycle.
- Translate operational and business needs into system and software requirements.
- Write system requirements, specifications, and design documents.
- Define system architecture, interfaces, and data flows.
- Break system requirements into actionable development tasks.
- Lead technical design reviews, including PDR and CDR.
- Manage multiple software projects and drive delivery.
- Collaborate with development, integration, testing, product, and engineering teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in systems engineering or technical software leadership.
- Experience defining requirements and writing technical specifications.
- Experience leading a software system, product, or project end to end.
- Strong understanding of software architecture and development processes.
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary development teams.
- Hands-on software development experience or a strong technical software background.
- Experience with Agile and Azure DevOps.
Nice to have
- Experience in defense, aerospace, space systems, or other complex multidisciplinary environments.
