Build and optimize production C++ systems integrating neural network models for real-time 3D sensing and perception on edge devices. Work closely with algorithm developers on vehicle-oriented systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement large-scale C++ systems for AI and algorithmic pipelines in real-time 3D sensing and perception.
- Integrate neural network models into production software, including runtime integration, sensor and data flow, pre- and post-processing, and system validation.
- Optimize performance, memory use, latency, and throughput for resource-constrained perception workloads.
- Build and own application infrastructure for running algorithms and neural networks efficiently on edge devices.
- Contribute to model conversion, inference execution, profiling, and optimization workflows.
- Lead feature development from design through implementation, integration, testing, and deployment.
- Contribute to CI/CD processes, automated testing, and production development workflows.
- Collaborate with algorithm developers and cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
- At least four years of hands-on C++ development experience.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design, software architecture, and large-scale system development.
- Experience working in Linux environments.
- Interest in neural network deployment on edge devices, including inference runtimes, performance optimization, and model integration.
Nice to have
- At least two years of Python experience, including NumPy and Pandas.
- Experience with performance optimization, memory efficiency, and real-time systems.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and automated testing.
- Experience with algorithms, computer vision, deep learning, 3D perception, or data teams.
- Knowledge of 3D computer vision, point clouds, depth, object detection, or embedded and edge AI deployment.
- Experience with Airflow, Argo, or similar workflow orchestration tools.
- At least two years of data engineering or backend systems experience in production environments with large-scale data.
