Develop Python packages, internal tools, automation flows, CI processes, and integrations with hardware and lab equipment at a quantum computing company. The team is based at the Science Park near the Weizmann Institute and collaborates with its experimental and theoretical groups.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Python packages, libraries, internal tools, scripts, and automation flows.
- Integrate with hardware systems and lab equipment, including SCPI-based communication and instruments such as oscilloscopes.
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines, automated tests, validation flows, and deployment processes.
- Debug software, hardware integration, and automation issues in Linux environments.
- Collaborate with software, hardware, QA, and DevOps teams on development, testing, and validation.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on Python development experience.
- Experience developing Python packages, libraries, automation flows, tests, and internal tools.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar.
- Familiarity with databases, SQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Good Git, Linux, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with PyTest, Docker, Serial, USB, TCP/IP, or SCPI.
- Experience with hardware, lab equipment, oscilloscopes, or hardware validation environments.
