A technology team is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to build and maintain end-to-end automation for complex web systems, with occasional front-end and back-end development as part of a broader software team. The role supports on-premises and cloud environments and uses DevOps/Agile practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain frameworks, tools, and infrastructure for end-to-end automated testing of complex web systems.
- Write modular, maintainable automation code in C# and .NET Core based on system requirements and specifications.
- Contribute periodically to front-end development with Angular and back-end development as part of the wider development team.
- Adapt test infrastructure to on-premises and cloud environments.
- Work with DevOps/Agile methods and use AI tools to improve development and testing processes.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience developing and maintaining end-to-end automation frameworks.
- At least 2 years of UI/web automation experience with Selenium or Playwright.
- At least 2 years of REST or SOAP API testing experience.
- At least 4 years of overall software and automation experience.
- At least 4 years of software development experience with C# and .NET Core within the last 6 years.
- At least 2 years of experience with SQL Server databases.
- At least 2 years of Angular UI development experience, including modern versions and TypeScript.
- At least 1 year of experience running automation in cloud or container environments.
- Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or Jenkins, and practical experience with AI tools.
- A qualifying background in computer science, computer engineering, another degree with specified information-systems or software coursework, relevant technician training, or approved military technology-unit training.
