QA Engineer, Mobile Games
Join a mobile game team to test an iOS and Android puzzle game, maintain test documentation, and help develop automated testing.
Responsibilities
- Perform functional, smoke, regression, and exploratory testing.
- Test levels, mechanics, boosters, progression, rewards, and game economy.
- Verify purchases, advertising, saves, and server interactions.
- Test across devices and iOS and Android versions.
- Check stability, performance, memory usage, and device temperature.
- Maintain test cases, checklists, and bug reports; analyze logs and test results.
- Work with Firebase Test Lab and support development of automated testing.
- Check release builds before publication.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience testing mobile apps or games.
- Hands-on experience testing iOS and Android.
- Knowledge of testing methods and ability to write clear test cases, checklists, and bug reports.
- Experience with bug trackers and test documentation.
- Experience with Firebase Test Lab or another device-farm service.
- Ability to analyze Android or iOS logs and basic understanding of client-server interactions.
- English sufficient to read technical documentation.
Nice to have
- Experience testing Match-3 games or working with Unreal Engine.
- Experience setting up Game Loop Tests or connecting tests to CI/CD.
- Familiarity with ADB, Logcat, Xcode, gcloud CLI, XCTest/XCUITest, Espresso, or UI Automator.
- Experience testing in-app purchases, advertising, analytics, or push notifications.
- Knowledge of App Store and Google Play requirements.
