Seeking a Simulation Operator to join a simulation and training department developing systems for autonomous platforms. The role involves operating simulations, defining scenarios, modeling virtual entities, and integrating simulation systems. Requires 2+ years of experience in integrated systems and manual/automated testing.
Responsibilities
- Operate simulation systems and define training scenarios
- Model behavior of virtual entities within simulations
- Write test and operation documentation
- Develop integration processes and interfaces for simulation and training systems
- Set up work environments including software installation, interface configuration, and version control
- Conduct system-level software testing, including analysis and fault detection
- Manage and lead integration labs both in-house and at customer sites
- Support experiments and provide customer assistance
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience with integrated systems
- At least 2 years of experience in defining manual and automated tests
- Knowledge of communication systems and IT – advantage
- Experience with simulation tools such as VR-Forces, VR-Vantage, and Unity – significant advantage
- Experience with DIS/HLA protocols – significant advantage
