Join a team building food delivery products for corporate and consumer settings. Develop and operate scalable Android applications used across the United States, collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, integrate, and validate Android software solutions.
- Own application features from planning and development through deployment and ongoing maintenance.
- Write tested, performant code and review peers’ work, ensuring security and scalability.
- Deploy, monitor, and support applications and platform performance, including participation in an on-call rotation.
- Evaluate tools, technologies, frameworks, and vendors with other senior team members.
- Collaborate with product, design, engineering teams, and third-party vendors.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional native Android development experience, including scaling a production application.
- Advanced Kotlin proficiency and working knowledge of Java.
- Experience designing mobile architectures with Clean Architecture and MVVM.
- Strong knowledge of RxJava and RxKotlin.
- Knowledge of the Android SDK, application lifecycle, and Jetpack components.
- Hands-on experience with dependency injection frameworks such as Dagger.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and clean code practices.
- Experience with Git branching strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and publishing and monitoring apps on Google Play.
Nice to have
- Experience with Coroutines or Flow.
- iOS development experience with Swift.
